I kicked off the New Year behind the wheel of the all new 2014 Cadillac CTS. To say that I’m a Caddy girl at heart would be an understatement. Coming from a line of Cadillac owners and one myself, I’ve always been intrigued by the attention to detail, craftsmanship, luxurious touches and unmistakable edge that Cadiilac offers. In one drive, the CTS proves just why it won MotorTrend Car of the Year two years in a row and multiple industry awards; it’s just that good!
Upon stepping into the car, to the first push of the start button, this masterfully crafted machine is impressive. Cork and wooden carved trims, lavish mocha colored seats and massage alert features built into the seating are just a few of the notably upgraded features throughout the interior. Another key upgrade was the reverse feature with camera coordination on the main console screen. Many cars offer a reverse camera feature, but the CTS takes safety up a notch with its guided reverse mode so that the car is protected from all objects and from all sides. You’ll also notice that design wise Cadillac has pushed the envelope adding custom exterior lines in front adding to its sharp new edgy look.
Cadillac’s style has progressed throughout the years, but attention to detail has clearly always been its key selling point. You’ll feel the difference the moment that you experience the all-new 2014 CTS along with Cadillac’s other luxurious fleet of machines. The brand continues to deliver on giving the consumer the best of the best hence the reason that its brand loyalty still holds steady after many generations. Another GM car that made a lot of noise this year was the all new 2014 Chevy Impala. Click here to see my experience in behind the Chevy Impala on the streets of Miami.
Cadillac and General Motors gave me a one-week experience in the all new 2014 Cadillac CTS. All opinions are my own.
