Miami, the annual event celebrating creators and entrepreneurs just wrapped and it was pure magic! VJMediaMixology is a carefully curated experience that organically connects brands with bloggers, journalists, content creators, tastemakers and influencers from all walks of media in one amazing interactive experience. Known as the signature event in Miami, where creators collaborate, VJMedia Mixology encapsulates the essence of the #VJMedia brand while celebrating outstanding media pioneers in the South Florida community. In our sixth year #VJMM18 (the event hashtag) aimed to elevate the multicultural experience in Miami by organically connecting the creators that make our vibrant city move forward. And we did just that!

Musician, Drummer and Producer Jeremiah Scott was on hand to bless us with a mini drum session to close out the night.

Creators came together in one interactive experience to do more than just network. They came together to collaborate, to hear fresh new ideas, to create synergy. This year, we brought together 160 of Miami’s creators, innovators and entrepreneurs in one interactive evening of impact!

 

Getting up close and personal with the Nissan Kicks “Sound Machine” and fellow entrepreneur and author, Stephanie Stanford.

This years presenting partner Nissan showcased their hip crossover vehicle, the Nissan Kicks. The Kicks was the perfect partner to celebrate the creative spirit within! Did you catch the DJ Booth built into the trunk? One word #Amazing.

TeamSoca’s DJ Spice performed live on the VJMM18 Red Carpet. Turntables and speakers and sound were integrated into the Nissan Kicks Sound Machine which has been traveling around the country for major influencer events.

From the technology, to the Bose sound, cool color combos and fresh style, patrons will have a chance to kick it with the Kicks. Here’s a preview in case you’d like more details on the Kicks.

One of the things guests always tell me is that they love all of the brands in attendance each year that they get to engage with. This years elevated experience featured: DarkHorse Wines, Bumble, DELL, Palace Resorts, The Fillmore MB, Buena Vida Media, the Loews Miami Beach, Miami SnapBooth, and Miami VR Expo. 

Our premiere spirits partner DarkHorse Wine was on hand to showcase their entire portfolio and feature their very popular Frose!

 

Another important highlight for the evening was our annual Spirit of Excellence awards, dedicated to celebrating five power influencers in the market. This years group was exceptional and each are at the essence of what makes Miami such a melting pot of creating and entrepreneurial success.

Bumble Miami Ambassador Kelly Saks and the Bumble team were on hand to greet patrons with Bumble swag, details on the brand and chances to engage with the trending app..
