Clearly by now you know that I’m quite the car enthusiast! I love getting behind the wheel of a new vehicle to get the skinny on what’s new, what makes it unique and what readers like you would appreciate. This past week, I was invited by the team at Ford Motors to take a tour of Miami Beach in one of the most talked about cars to come out of this years Detroit Auto Show; The Ford Mustang. When it comes to the Mustang, the word impressive would be an understatement. Clean lines, a rugged yet modern interior, an 8-second convertible rooftop, and bumper to bumper trims all make for quite the stunner.
“Designed from the wheels up to deliver maximum drop top enjoyment, the Mustang is a fantastic way to escape the daily grind of life and hit the open road in distinct style” (Ford Motor Company).
As Ford celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Ford Mustang, they’ve clearly elevated the driver experience by putting a modern spin on this iconic All-American car. Behind the wheel you definitely get a sense of pure muscle and grit that went into the design and build. Mustang fans will also find an array of up to 10 colors to choose from including the #HelloYellow that I drove. With South Florida as your backdrop, you’ll want to drop the top and bring friends along for the ride, which is easy to do as the Mustang comfortably seats up to five. Take a peak at how Ford celebrates the 50th year of the Mustang and don’t be surprised to see an explosion of these on the streets of South Florida.
Here are a few more pics from my experience:
Disclaimer: I was a guest of Ford Motors and Moore Communications Group for the test drive experience. However, all opinions are my own.
